• Things I Am Not Interested In…

…that many other people seem to be super interested in. Am I missing something?

-Photography. OK, I love a good picture. I would like to have many good pictures framed in our apartment. I like to take pictures while we are out in the city, and to be in pictures with our friends. I am not, however, interested in learning about shutter speeds and angles and light and ugh. Plus, photography is not a cheap hobby. So, I shall be leaving this one to other people, like Franklin, and Rosa.

-Thrifting. I like good bargains, and I like a quirky, fun store as much as the next girl. However, I find shopping at retail stores to be much, much easier then hunting for clothes.  Etsy, yes. Independent boutiques, of course. The occasional thrift store, absolutely. As a hobby? No thanks.

-Serious crafting. Yes Martha, I know I could make my own screen printed canvas bag, or dried flower recycled paper notecards, but that doesn’t mean I should.

-Wearing maxi dresses. Does no one else feel like they look pregnant in these things?

-Writing a novel. I hear it’s hard work for little reward. Again, I leave this to others. And I will gladly read your finished product.

What are you not interested in?

One Responseso far.

I *want* to be interested in photography, but I just can’t get into it. Point-and-shoot is soo fast and easy. Instant picture! I admire the likes of Franklin and Rosa that can do it (well).
